Las Vegas - Korean coffee shop : GABI (라스베가스 한인 카페 추천 - GABI)

by 이린자[생활용품소개] 2020. 4. 17.

GABI CAFE is one of a kind cafe in las vegas.

The atmosphere is quite descent.

The prices for pastry and coffee are reasonable.

It is located at

When you first face the entrance, you might not be able to find where the coffee shop is.

The door is wood-made and looks quite simple

(pictures for the door is right below)

Cafe GABI has a theme as tradtional Korea which is located in Korean Town in Las Veags.

Ga-Beh sounds similar to old Korean meaning coffee and I believe the owner came up with the name from that background.

When I first got there, I had to spend quite a time to find the door, but when I entered the door, it felt like I was teleported to Korea. Not just Korea, but Korea back in early 1900s.

The atmosphere was overwhelming. I have been to many coffee shops, but this was one of the best coffee shops I could tell.

If you are from Korea, the employees are Korean and you will not need to speek good English there.

한국 직원분들이 계셔서  영어가 부담스러우시다면 한국말로도 주문이 가능해 보입니다

once I ordered a cup of americano and grabbed a seat, I had to say "It's like I am in the middle of a botanical garden!"

Since you can see the interior design of the cafe, it has a small house like kitchen with transparent glasses. some of the trees in the coffee shop made me feel like im in the middle of a garden.

If you have a look on the wall side, you will find the huge pictures lying on the wall.

The pictures seemed taken back in late 1800 to early 1900 (the era of Japanese colonization of Korea)

You can order various kinds of pastries and they provide a vibrating ring bell just like the coffee shops in Korea.

The bell rings or vibrates when your order is ready.

the cafe has couches and long tables and i thought it would be good for people who want to study or read books.

The couches seemed only fit for couples (too small for two guys to sit together, but fit enough for couples)

The ceiling was high enough to get me overwhelmed by its atmosphere.

you can also seat on the stair (picture above). they offer a small table as you can see in the picture.

I first thought it was well designed seats, but I realized that the stair symbolized the throne of Chosun Dynasty.

The drawing  on the wall defines the throne from old Korea when Korea was ruled by a king.

The picture did not catch the right top part of the drawing, but the drawing has the moon and the sun at the same time.

I love the owner's sense of design and i wish all the people coming to las vegas could visit here at least!
